Spouse/Significant Other / Family / Pets:  Married to my long time sweetheart, Ralph. We will celebrate 50 years this December 1

We have 3 children Karin, Jimmy, and Tina. No grandchildren, but lots of granddogs.

We have  2 dogs Madeline and Jasmine--our babies!

Since AHS Graduation: Worked at the UNC Press for several years then stayed at home and raised kids. After my mother died, we took over the operation of Howards Rest Home for 12 years. In 1992 I went to work for the Morrisville Fire Department--had already been a volunteer since 1976--and retired from there as Fire Marshall in 2008.

Hobbies/Interests:  We enjoy ‘Lake Day’ every Monday at Jordan Lake from May until it gets too cool. We have a house at Emerald Isle and love spending time there. We have our family times each week with our children--love it. I’m still playing keyboards for the church, 56 years.  Only now it’s with the praise band! Active with our Senior Gospel Choir and our senior OWLS

Apex Memories:  Band trips and performances with Mr. Burt, cooking and sewing with Mrs. Chappell (remember those fashion shows), the unstudy halls, the Tastee Freeze hamburgers, footprints in the concrete at the gym?I know nothing!!! Basketball practice with Coach Crouch. Wonderful times with all of you that went all too fast--we were in such a hurry.
