Spouse: Bruce Benton, retired after teaching school/administration, owning a restaurant and 30 yrs with Northgate Associates and Rand Enterprises in Durham. Presently pastor, Sparta Presbyterian Church

Since AHS Graduation: 

Graduated from Mars Hill College with major in elementary ed, minor in piano. Married in '67. Taught 3rd and 4th grades in Fayetteville and Durham until having children.  Later taught preschool for 12 yrs. Also taught piano and worked in several churches in music positions. Am now music director/accompanist Sparta Presbyterian Church. Am now a PW (preacher's wife) instead of a PK (preacher's kid).
